Hi, I'm Vyn! I'll drive you through a car park that runs on pasvyn. It takes about two minutes. Ready?
Your number plate is your pass. Drive in, park, pay the way you like and drive out. No ticket, no queue at the machine, no app required.
Stop 1 · Arrive
Drive in. The barrier already knows you.
Watch the camera: it reads my plate as I roll up, and the barrier opens. No ticket to pull, no button to press.
- Plates are read in about a second and matched even when characters look alike, such as O and 0 or B and 8.
- Nobody gets stuck at the entry: if a plate is hard to read, the barrier still opens and the visit is flagged for a quick check.
- Cameras, induction loops, barriers and displays all talk to pasvyn over one standard message protocol (MQTT).
Stop 2 · Park
Park. Nothing to keep behind the windscreen.
No ticket to lose and nothing on the dashboard. My visit started the moment the camera saw me.
- The visit runs on the plate, so a lost ticket simply cannot happen.
- Tariffs the way car parks really work: free minutes, first hour, hourly or per started block, a daily maximum and night rates.
- Operators see live occupancy against the capacity of every site.
Stop 3 · Pay
Pay your way.
Paying is up to you: scan a QR code with your phone, tap the kiosk, or let the app pay for you when you leave.
Every payment comes with a PDF receipt showing VAT. After paying there's a grace period to drive out. Card payments run through Stripe, so card data never touches pasvyn servers.
Stop 4 · Leave
Drive out. Paid means open.
I've paid, so the exit camera recognises me and the barrier lifts. If I'd forgotten, the display would show the amount and a QR code right there.
- App users are charged automatically as they drive out.
- Unpaid at the exit? Pay on the spot with the QR code, or let the site invoice later. Each site chooses its own policy.
- No queue at the barrier, no lost-ticket fee, no searching for coins.
Stop 5 · Operate
Run every site from one screen.
Behind the scenes, the operator sees everything live: who's parked, which device needs attention, and every payment.
- Live overview of occupancy, revenue and open issues.
- Every visit with its plate pictures, and the reason when one needs a human look.
- Open a barrier remotely, with a reason and a confirmation step.
- Device health from regular heartbeats, so a silent camera is noticed at once.
- Every action is recorded under the staff member who did it. A new site, with lanes, devices and tariff, is set up in one step.
Stop 6 · Simulate
Test your car park before you build it.
My favourite part: a digital twin. We rebuild your car park in 3D and drive thousands of cars through the real pasvyn system before a single camera is installed.
- Draw or trace your site in the site studio and see it in 3D straight away.
- Calibrate the traffic from your own entry and exit logs.
- Compare options, such as a second kiosk or an extra exit lane, in a report with charts and confidence ranges.
- The simulated cameras and barriers send exactly the same messages as real ones, so what you test is what you get.
